Is Your Story Meaningful Enough?

In a company’s evolution there are a few critical moments … choke points … where the lack of one thing can constrict growth, hinder progress and, if left unattended, create a hell of a lot of discomfort and pain for the founder. It’s been my observation that founders at ALL stages of evolution – from early-stage growth to mature businesses – can experience this deficiency, and in fact it’s the growth itself that sets the problem into stark relief. That makes it untenable. Painful. Overwhelming. Three different founders I spoke with over the last week, while on the outside struggling with dramatically different issues in reality share the same clear and direct opportunity to address what they struggle with.

Haley Boehning, Co-Founder and Principal of Storyforge, believe there’s a fundamental disconnect between how we build + market our businesses and what our customers, employees and stakeholders truly care about. The world’s most loved and most profitable companies have figured this out, and she’s spent years studying how and why.
